My Story
Growing up in rural Jordanian villages exposed me to striking health inequities that violated human dignity and justice. This reality fueled my pursuit of becoming a physician, but it was not until experiencing major failures throughout my journey that I began appreciating the emotional utility of growing pains.
At this point in time, I am specializing my medical training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology - the study of the digestive system and liver. I am fascinated by the microbial impact on gut & mental health, GI cancers, and psychiatric suffering.

The main pillar in my treatment philosophy is to guide patients towards a light of hope during their darkest times.
My Mission
My overarching mission is to build technological and educational bridges for medically underserved communities so they can receive affordable world class gastroenterology care. Within this scope I will be educating and inspiring the next generation of physicians on how to become transformative leaders and compassionate patient advocates.
